Oh My!
So many stories to tell, so many memories made, and so many great people we met! Our time in North Carolina was truly A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Talking about being INSPIRED. Just to witness so many different art forms, and to think of things out of our own little box made this whole trip priceless!
First off, we went to Donna Downey's studio. If you like her work on the web, to see it in person....well let's say...OUT OF THIS WORLD! Photo's as we all know don't do anything in the art world justice. So....think of how good her work looks on the web and imagine it a 100 times more fabulous in person!! Seriously.
Michelle Ogdahl from Unity/{ippity} came to NC to meet us and what a hoot and a half she is!! We really look forward to continue our working relationship with that great company!!
We have so much to share in the coming weeks. Project ideas, and a few little secrets up our sleeves.
Here are a few pictures of our week. Many more to follow!
Thanks to everyone who helped us make this dream possible.
hugs! k&b

Hello There Friends....
Yes! a new blog post! Can you even believe it?!?!?!
All we can say is we are sorry for the delay in between each post. Everything for us is so new and at times more than overwhelming! We try our best to keep everything running...but honestly the problems we were having with the Division of Taxation were a little more important recently. Seeing that is cleared up we can focus on the fun stuff!
To share with you...some of our goals. Both of us started this business for one reason and over time our reasons for being here and our vision {so to speak} has changed a million times over.
This we do know:
Beth & I got matching rings that say "be true to your dreams"
So far we have met some great people at our crops and also through business contacts. We are working with the great folks at {ippity} and this is really exciting for us. We are grateful that you have all loved what we have presented to you so far from their product lines.
A funny little story:
A few weeks back Beth and I had a business lunch at Panera Bread, our little pow-wow! We were there for quite a lengthy time and then decided to leave there and go look for some displays for our booth at Inspired. We drove to Providence and got lost. We finally found it and poked all through the big mill style building for awhile. Finally, we ended up in a room along with another lady. She looked so familiar to us. So I spoke up and asked her if she had been at Panera Bread, and she said yes! The odd thing is that our path to Providence was not direct, and we spoke with her for so long about many different business aspects. She was a wealth of knowledge that was so helpful. We were meant to cross paths. It was a one of those serendipity moments for us. This journey has been so much fun!
Some News:
Still one of my favorite pics from Crop a few months ago! Thanks Ellen for the peeps!!
Hope you are all well. Follow our blog and tell everyone you know about us!
Love & Hugs,
kathie & beth

We have begun making samples with the new {ippity} stamp sets. They really stamp well, nice and crisp! The box arrived while Beth was in Maine visiting her Mom & I held off from doing much with them until she returned. {honestly, my creative mo-jo was so off without her---but don't tell her!}
This week is going to be really busy in the studio. Our Chicks & Chocolate Crop is next weekend....and we have lots of little goodies planned. Lately, the time between crops really seems to drag. We have so much fun and wish we could do them every weekend!!!
We are still finishing up making our plans for our road trip to North Carolina in May. I will probably do most of the driving because I {believe} that I take my life in my hands when Beth is behind the wheel. {snicker}
Our blog/website here on Typepad is really taking shape and we are finally making some progress in our plans to make this a site that has lots of goodies for sale! Thanks for sticking around and being patient.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!
Hugs!! K.

What do you think about this? Years ago I use to look at flea markets for "printers drawers". I would search for little bitty things to fit into each and ever mini space. I remember putting my concert tickets, my prom dates boutonnieres, mementos from deferent events that at the time were incredibly important to me. Over time it ended up off the wall and to be honest I don't even know if I still have them in my basement. This new item from 7 gypsies reminds me of those printers drawers and for that reason alone makes me want to create something with it. So keep your eyes peeled in the next few months and see what Beth and I create with these! What CHA items are "floating your boat" This is such an exciting time of the year!! WHOOT! WHOOT!
